Serving the needs of others

FIELD OPERATIONS

A key to the success of Larson & Larson has been the ability to service a project by self-performing work. This service requires a builder’s mentality. In 2005, Larson & Larson worked and completed a total of 85,000 hours of self-performed work. Project crew sizes ranged from four to 45 people.

This ability has allowed us to differentiate our firm from some of the General Contractors who are really “brokers”. By this we mean that they put a Project Manager on the job, but sub out the rest of the work to various sub-contractors.

This also allows us to better control the project schedule when we are responsible for various phases of the project with our own staff.
